I've been seeing Dr. Manheim for about 2 years now. My case was (and still is...) quite complicated - I had pain in several different areas (including my back, which had been making the real diagnosis of my foot problem elusive). Dr. Manheim has a heart of gold, the patience of a saint, and a Mary Poppins bag of tricks. She truly cares about her patients and wants them to be well. She has "walked with me" through a long and arduous recovery where, at several points, I was close to giving up; she never gave up. But I can finally say that my pain is at a level 1 and is totally manageable, which is the complete opposite of where I was when I started working with her. I am incredibly grateful and definitely recommend Dr. Manheim and her staff!
Dr. Mannheim is fantastic. She really took her time explaining what she was doing and why she was doing it. She ensured that I knew what my treatment plan was and had a clear understanding of what the next steps were. If you’re looking for a podiatrist, I strongly recommend going to Step By Step Family Foot Care!

I was prompted to write this review after taking my elderly dad to the podiatrist near his home. That doctor was fast and efficient - and therein lies the problem for people like me. If you don't like having your feet touched and are sensitive to pain - if you are searching for a doctor who won't hurt you and who will spend time lots of time with you - then you need to see Dr. Maheim! I came to her with an old injury that I never addressed due to fear. She was so gentle. She told me everything she was going to do and didn't proceed until I felt comfortable. I ended up needing surgery - and the results were wonderful. If you are putting off seeing a foot doctor due to fear - make an appointment with Dr. Manheim. She is not only an excellent physician, she is a compassionate and caring human being. Her staff is wonderful as well!
Can I say that I love Dr. Mannheim? During each office visit she is attentive and takes her time with me. She educates me about the condition of my foot so I understand what I can do to help it heal. She's very down-to-earth and friendly, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients and their well-being. After my first visit she even called me at home to see how I was doing. The level of personalized care she provides is difficult to find in this day and age. In addition, her office is clean and modern, and the woman at the front desk - sorry, I don't recall her name - is helpful. I'm so glad I found Dr. Mannheim and Step By Step Family Foot Care!
Dr. Manheim was very nice, attentive, and thorough. Everyone we spoke to or encountered was very professional and polite. We spent over an hour with the doctor for a new patient appointment. She had excellent bedside manner, making us feel important and appreciated. Even with my 8-year-old's many questions, she was kind to him and respected him as a person- not just speaking to the parent like some doctors do. Great experience. We will be recommending her wholeheartedly to friends and family that need a specialist.
