Caring for Mom

These days it has become highly unusual for doctors to treat patients who cannot come to their office. Not you. You have gone above and beyond the norm by looking after my Mother's needs in her home.

My Mother has a debilitating disease and your willingness to make time for house calls has meant that she has maintained the required schedule of treatment.

You have always provided the highest quality of treatment taking time to make sure that every need is met. Some doctors go for speed and patients must return more often becuase all needs have not been dealt with. You take your time and provide a thorough and exacting treatment. The outcome for my Mom has been much less pain and far fewer recurring problems.

You were also very instrumental in getting us nursing services, physical and speech therapy - clearly beyond podiatry care. The agencies you recommended were top of the line and provided excellent service.

To say the least you have earned our trust and gratitude and I thank you for all you have done to help my Mother during this difficult time in her life.

She is my wife and I's podiatrist.  I would rate her AAA+. She’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. As far as her specialty in foot care, she’s tremendous for my wife and I. My wife had callouses and pain in her feet and every three months she’d need them trimmed and would have pain and would suffer until she got her next insurance period, but since she’s been seeing Dr. Manheim, she hasn’t hurt at all. Also, I’m a diabetic so she is able to provide care for me because she’s familiar with diabetic feet problems and specializes in that area. She does preventive treatment and also preventive tests to protect the foot from developing more serious problems before any nerve damage happens. I also had hyperkeratosis and she was really the only one that could keep that under control after going to other specialists for a year. She’s just unbelievably outstanding.

I've been getting TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) treatment. I see her twice a week. I also get treatments for foot ulcers.

She has the most superb bedside manner. She is extremely caring about her patients. She is extremely knowledgable. It is a very welcoming environment. She is a fabulous person. Her skill level is superb.
